Chukar Hunts
The steep rocky hillsides of North Central
Oregon provide some of the best Chukar habitat
in the West. The large coveys that inhabit this
area provide some of the most challenging and
exciting wing shooting available in the United
States. Hungarian Partridge and Valley Quail
also frequent some of these same hills, giving
the hunters more opportunities at a mixed bag of
upland birds.
These hunts are not for everyone, the land these
birds thrive in can make for some tough hunting.
Hunters need to be in good physical condition to
take on these fast flying birds.
All of our Chukar hunts take place private
property. This allows us to limit the number of
times these birds are hunted through out the
season. Less pressured birds make for the most
successful hunts. |
